Customizing a Royal Enfield motorcycle has always been in trend. Keeping this in mind, we have already seen several Royal Enfield bikes being modified in the past both in India and other parts of the world. Recently, an Interceptor 650 has been customized in Thailand. A video of the modified bike has been uploaded online by Moto Custom Thailand on their Youtube Channel. The Interceptor 650 and Continental 650 are currently the flagship models of Royal Enfield. The video gives us an idea of how amazing the Interceptor 650 looks after being customized by WSW Custom Bike.
The Custom Bike house tries to make the Interceptor 650 look like a street tracker motorcycle. The front fascia gets a new headlamp with a new headlamp holder and turn indicators. The mudguard in the front has been replaced with a short custom made unit. The motorcycle now rides on fatter tyres. These tyres give the bike a bobber-like stance. Talking about the side profile, the fuel tank receives a brushed aluminium finish. There is also a Royal Enfield logo on it. Both the handlebar and switchgear has been replaced with new units. The rear view mirror has been repositioned. The speedometer has now been installed on the left side below the fuel tank.
The clutch case, cam covers, and the fuel injector covers have been given a matte black finish instead of the shiny chrome touch. The side panels also get the black finish. Apart from this, the custom bike house has also redesigned the footpegs for a better riding position. The bike gets a new exhaust system as well. The subframe at the rear end of the motorcycle has been chopped. The engine of the Interceptor 650 remains unchanged. It continues to draw power from the 648cc twin-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that churns out 47 bhp power and 52 Nm torque. The motor comes linked to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper-clutch.
