Mechanically, the new Meteor 350 draws its power from a brand new J-series 349cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-oil cooled, fuel-injected engine. While being linked to a constant mesh gearbox, the bike generates 20.2 bhp power @6100 rpm and 27 Nm torque @4000 rpm. The engine comes equipped with a primary balancer shaft that further helps to reduce vibrations. The two-wheeler is based on twin downtube spine frame. Its suspension setup comprises 41mm telescopic forks with 130mm travel upfront and twin-tube emulsion shock absorbers with 6-step adjustable pre-load towards the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 300 mm disc with a twin-piston floating calliper up front and a 270mm disc single-piston floating calliper towards the rear as it comes equipped with dual-channel ABS.
