Another teaser video released showing glimpses of the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 launch date is the 6th of November, 2020. After months of delays, the new model is finally arriving in the country next month. The manufacturer certainly knows one or two things to raise Indian buyers expectations by releasing teasers on social media platforms. The Chennai-based manufacturer released yet another teaser video providing a glimpse of the upcoming cruiser motorcycle. The Meteor 350 will replace the Thunderbird 350X in the Indian market plus this is a completely new product made from scratch. The cruiser bike will rival newly-launched Honda H’ness CB 350 and Jawa motorcycle in its segment. Pricing will be key in winning market share so expect Royal Enfield Meteor 350 to retail in the price range of Rs 1.60 - Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom), India. 


The all-new motorcycle will come in 3 variants namely Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. The former is a base variant while the latter two will be the top-end models. The bike will be sold in 7 paint options like the Fireball Yellow, Fireball Red, Stellar Red metallic, Stellar Black matte, Stellar Blue metallic, Supernova Brown dual-tone, and Supernova Blue dual-tone. The cruiser bike which was earlier scheduled to arrive in September will come loaded with features like halogen headlamp, LED DRL's, semi-digital instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer and LED taillights. Talking about the instrument cluster then it will come equipped with an LCD display that will show essentail information such as fuel gauge, service reminder, odometer and a gear position indicator. It will also offer a Bluetooth-enabled GPS system named 'Tripper Navigation'.


Moving on to the performance, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be powered by an all-new 350cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, long-stroke engine. It will deliver 20 bhp of maximum power output and 27 Nm of peak torque. The engine will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Suspension duties here will be taken care by 41mm telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers towards the rear. Its braking power will come from twin discs both in the front as well as the rear. The motorcycle will also feature dual-channel ABS.
