Designers have modified Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 with a completely new chassis and bigger rear wheels

Bike modifications are always exciting to cover as they showcase the creative and technical craftsmanship. Improving a bike in terms of style, design and performance is a tough task but some of the customizations just steal the spotlight over the stock bike itself. Today, we are going to talk about a stunning modification of the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350. The designers transformed the touring friendly motorcycle into an Indian Scout replica more or less. The Indian is one of the iconic motorcycle brands with a huge appeal among Indian enthusiasts. The American brand has a cult following with its bikes imported in the country through the CBU route. Its bikes are often on the expensive side and the bike enthusiasts are priced out. One enthusiast took the decision to transform his Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 into an Indian Scout lookalike.

In a video uploaded on Youtube by Vlogger Vampvideo, the transformation is remarkable. To make the stock Thunderbird 350 appear similar to the Indian Scout, the entire body is redesigned. A new customized chassis is developed especially for the modification. The headlights house the small DRLs and it appears to come from the Scout bike. At the front, you have the 150mm tyre with glossy black alloy finish while the rear end sports a 250 mm tyre. The rear tyre is quite similar to the one found in a bobber motorcycle. A dual-disc at the front and a single disc at the rear take care of the braking responsibilities. The modified Thunderbird 350 gets a Pearl Black colour scheme, thus giving it a shiny look.

The designers took the step of making the front and rear fenders wider to house the wide tyres. The customized bike gets a twin-muffler exhaust system with chrome-finished end cans. In the video, one can observe the exhaust sound, it will remind you of a Royal Enfield bike. The vlogger mentions the customization of the engine but details weren’t revealed in the video. Although, we do get to know that the bike gets a false V-Twin engine cover. The designer further modified the handlebar and added a monochrome fully digital instrument cluster. Adding to the appeal is the logo of the ‘Indian’ embossed on the fuel tank.

The modified Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 comes with a single-seat unit leaving no space for a pillion rider. The designer has chopped the rear fender to give a sporty look to the bike. As per the vlogger, the cost of the modification is a whopping Rs 2.5 Lakhs.
