Royal Enfield launched the 350X back in February 2018 and the bike grabbed many eyeballs due to its funky colour schemes. Now to meet the safety norms set by the government, Royal Enfield has launched the ABS variant of the Thunderbird 350X.
The Thunderbird 350X has got many changes than the regular Thunderbird. These changes include new handlebars, long single seat, tubeless tyres wrapped around blacked out 9-spoke alloy wheels. The Thunderbird 350X and Thunderbird 500X are the only bikes in the company line-up that come equipped with tubeless tyres.
Powering the cruiser is the same motor from the regular Thunderbird 350. The 346cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine produces 19.8 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The addition of ABS has raised the price of the bike by Rs. 7000, the Thunderbird 350X ABS is priced at Rs. 1.63 lakhs (ex-showroom).
