Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Appoints Berndt Buchmann As Director

Berndt A Buchmann will be succeeding Justin Nolte as the Group Director, After Sales & Vehicle Logistics

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd has appointed  Berndt A. Buchmann as its Group Director, After Sales & Vehicle Logistics. In his new role, Berndt Buchmann will be responsible for supervising the after-sales plan of action with an intent to ensure a satisfied customer base for the Group. Furthermore, he will be reporting to Mr. Gurpratap Boparai, Managing Director at SAVWIPL. Besides this, Buchmann will be succeeding Justin Nolte who will be taking over a new assignment in Volkswagen AG.

Talking about Berndt A Buchmann, he comes with an automotive experience of more than twenty-five years in the areas of after-sales, sales & marketing, and service & parts operations. Earlier, he was in Volkswagen Group Japan as Director Group Aftersales & Head of VW Aftersales. Besides this, Buchmann has worked with several organizations like VW Group AG, VW Group Russia & CIS, Groupe PSA, and AUDI AG.
