Skoda to Launch Slavia Facelift in India by September 2025

The updated Skoda Slavia will be offered with several design tweaks and advanced features.

Skoda India is all set to expand its Indian lineup with new Slavia and Kushaq models. The brand is gearing up to launch the facelift versions of its two popular models, Kushaq and Slavia. Skoda will roll out the updated Kushaq in the country in August 2025. On the other hand, the much-awaited Slavia Facelift will hit the Indian market by September 2025. Skoda will also launch an all-new compact SUV on the global market next year.

The made-for-India Skoda Slavia sedan was launched in February 2022. After 3.5 years, the auto giant is all set to introduce the updated model to the market. Notably, the sedan is one of the four India 2.0 products, which includes models like the Volkswagen Virtus sedan, Volkswagen Taigun SUVs, and the Skoda Kushaq.

The Skoda Slavia will be offered with several design tweaks on the exterior. The facelift version is expected to come equipped with a revamped grille, a Verna-style LED light bar, and reworked taillamp clusters. The updated Skoda will feature styling tweaks on the rear and front bumpers. Additionally, the new model is expected to feature the same connected headlamps equipped in the Hyundai Verna. At the rear, there would be revamped chrome bits. In terms of features, the Skoda Slavia is expected to receive extra tech-driven features. It is likely to feature a 360-degree camera and an ADAS suite. However, the brand has not revealed any feature details yet.

Under the hood, the new Kushaq and Slavia facelifts are expected to be powered by the same 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines. The unit is mated to a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed DSG, and a 6-speed automatic. According to reports, the Kushaq facelift will get major cosmetic enhancements, including connected LED taillights and revamped LED headlamps, along with an LED light bar located in the centre. The SUV will get reworked front and rear bumpers, a redesigned grille, and new alloy wheels.
