In India, the Kushaq Monte Carlo variant was launched by Skoda in May 2022. The model now as expected has two brand-new features: illuminated footwell lights and front-powered seats. This variant is based on the top-spec style variant, and it is rolled out in 2 powertrain alternatives. The automaker has also added two new features to the Kushaq Monte Carlo, along with the introduction of the Skoda Slavia Matte Edition.

The changes in the Monte Carlo variant incorporate a new wheel design accompanied by red brake calipers and the Monte Carlo badging above the front wheel arches, which gives it an exclusive appearance and makes it stand out from other models. The Monte Carlo is different from the standard variant as it comes with updated features, including cosmetics, both inside and out. The exterior design underlines of the automobile incorporate a Tornado Red exterior with blacked-out components like skid plates, roof rails, and ORVMs. In the standard variant, the cabin layout on the inside remains unchanged.

Kushaq Monte Carlo Variant Specs

The Monte Carlo variant includes a black and red dual-tone interior theme, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a 10-inch infotainment screen. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, and dual-tone upholstery accompanying the Monte Carlo inscription on the headrest, which gives it a distinct identity within the KUSHAQ lineup.

Under the skin, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo variant offers an option between a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, TSI petrol mill and a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, TSI petrol engine. The 1.0-liter engine generates 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, whereas the more powerful 1.5-liter unit belts out 148 hp and 250 Nm of torque. According to their preferences, drivers can opt from three transmission options, including a six-speed torque converter, a seven-speed DSG gearbox, and a six-speed manual.
