Skoda Octavia RS Discontinued, Removed From Website

Czech manufacturer, Skoda has discontinued the Octavia RS and removed it from the website.

The Czech carmaker, Skoda had launched the Octavia RS in September 2017 and it was adored by many automobile enthusiasts. The RS version was based the standard Octavia but packed more performance and better mechanical equipment. But the manufacturer due to lack of kits discontinued the Octavia RS and has removed the vehicle from the website listings.

The Octavia RS was the fastest and most powerful Skoda produced in India. The Quad LED headlights with RS badging on the front gave the car a sporty appeal. It was available in four colour options - Race Blue, Steel Grey, Corrida Red and Candy White. The seats of the car were wrapped in Alcantara leather. 

The car sat on 17-inch wheels and was 15 mm closer to the ground than the regular Octavia. The Octavia RS had come equipped with XDS+ limited-slip differential that offered ultimate driving experience. Powering the vehicle was a 2.0-litre TSI petrol motor that churned 230 PS of power and it was mated to a 6-speed DSG. The car did a 0-100 km/hr in just 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/hr.
