Skoda India has just given the Superb and Kodiaq hefty price cuts through ‘Corporate Edition’ variants, which skip many features in order to bring down the price of these cars. The Skoda Superb Corporate Edition is priced at 26 lakhs for the 1.8-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engines dual clutch automatic variant while the 2-liter TDI diesel model with the twin clutch automatic gearbox is priced at Rs. 28.5 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi. The Skoda Kodiaq Corporate Edition is priced at Rs. 33 lakhs for the 2-liter diesel automatic trim. These prices represent a near 3.5 lakhs price cut from the Sportline trims of the Superb, and in case of the Kodiaq, a Rs. 4.5 lakh rupees price cut from the L&K trim. Notably, the ‘Corporate Edition’ variants of the Superb and Kodiaq are offered in the base Style trims.
Commenting on the launch of the Superb and Kodiaq Corporate Editions, Mr Zac Hollis, Director – Sales, Service and Marketing, ŠKODA AUTO India, said,

In terms of features, both the Superb and Kodiaq come with great equipment levels even in Corporate Edition trim. The Kodiaq offers 9 airbags while the Superb offers 8. Other standard safety features include ABS, ESP, traction control, park assist, adaptive headlamps on the Superb, multi collision braking system on the Kodiaq, reverse parking camera and more. In terms of creature comforts, both cars have an impressive spec even in Corporate Edition trim. Electric adjustment for the front seats, triple zone automatic climate control, Amundsen infotainment system, with state-of-the-art 20.32 cm floating touchscreen display that gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an adjustable middle row in the Kodiaq are key features on offer. Both cars benefit from Skoda’s 6-year extended warranty pack called Skoda Shield, which also adds insurance and 24×7 roadside assistance.
While the Kodiaq is powered by the 2 liter TDI turbo diesel engine with 148 Bhp-340 Nm, paired to a 6 speed twin clutch automatic gearbox, the Superb gets 2 engine options: a 1.8 liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine with 175 Bhp-250 Nm and a 7 speed twin clutch automatic gearbox, and a 2 liter TDI turbocharged diesel engine with 175 Bhp-350 Nm and a 6 speed twin clutch automatic gearbox.
It will be exclusively produced at Kia's factory in Andhra Pradesh for both domestic market and export purposes
