Suzuki Burgman BS6 Price Increased by Rs 1800

Suzuki Burgman BS6 gets a price hike for the first time; features and specifications remain unchanged.

Suzuki Motorcycle India launched the BS6 version of Burgman Street 125 at a sticker price of Rs 77900 (Ex-Showroom). Recently, the scooter received a price hike of Rs 1800. It is now priced at Rs 79,700 (Ex-Showroom). The scooter received a price hike of Rs. 7,000 when the BS6 variant was launched. 

In terms of design, the 2020 Suzuki Burgman Street 125 BS6 remains identical to its BS4 counterpart. The front fascia features a full-LED headlight and position lights. The rear end gets an attractive taillight and pillion grab rail. As for features, the only new addition is the chrome accents on the front and the rear panel. While the rest of the features remain unchanged.  The maxi-scooter continues to get bits like all-digital instrumentation with twin trip meters and a clock. It carries over the same body-mounted windscreen. Other highlighted features include integrated engine start and kill switch, DC socket in the glove box, sporty muffler cover, dual luggage hooks, aluminium pillion footrest, and large 21.5 litres under-seat storage.

Under the skin, the Burgman Street BS6 continues to draw power from the 125 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor that comes with Suzuki Eco Performance technology. The engine produces 8.5 bhp power and 10 Nm of peak torque. The new BS6 compliant Suzuki Burgman Street is available in four color options namely Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Black No. 2, and new Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red. The scooter competes against the likes of the TVS NTorq 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125, and the Yamaha Ray ZR 125.
