Suzuki 2-Wheelers Rolls Out 4 Millionth Vehicle In India

Suzuki 2-Wheelers India rolled out the 4th millionth vehicle from their plant in Gurgaon.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) rolled out the 4 millionth 2-wheeler from its Gurugram plant. This brings SMIPL a step closer to realizing its goal of achieving 1 million volume sales and doubling its market share by 2020. The company achieved this milestone over 12 years of its introduction in the Indian market.

Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL said, "We are delighted to roll out the four millionth vehicle and are thankful to our customers who have shown immense trust in our products. This is a testimony of our commitment to India and we wish to achieve many such milestones in the future. With this landmark, we are a step closer to achieving our sales target of 7.5 lakh units by the end of the current financial year. We thank our valued customers, business partners, associates, and all my colleagues for this remarkable feat."  

Currently, the company retails 16 models in the Indian market. The bestsellers here are the Access 125, Burgman Street, The Gixxer Series and the Intruder 155. While these products are aimed at the mass market, high capacity motorcycles such as the Hayabusa, GSX-R1000R, V-Storm 650 XT are also sold here.
