Suzuki has rolled out a special Heritage Edition of its famous Jimny 5-door SUV in Australia. The brand will only retail 500 units of the SUV in the Australian market. Interestingly, the model unveiled in the global market is manufactured in India. The automaker previously launched the Suzuki 3-door Jimny Heritage Edition in 2023. The 3-door SUV was limited to just 300 units, and it was completely sold out in just two days.
The Jimny Heritage Edition has received a few cosmetic enhancements. The 5-door Jimny features decals on the sides and back. It has red front and rear mud flaps and a unique cargo tray. The company is offering the Jimny 5-door Heritage Edition in five different color options: Chiffon Ivory + Bluish Black Pearl, White, Bluish Black Pearl, Jungle Green, and Granite Grey Metallic.

Suzuki has specifically designed the Heritage Edition to honor Jimny's 4x4 past from the 1970s to the 1990s. Powering the 5-door Jimny Heritage Edition is a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine that churns out maximum power of 99 bhp and 130 Nm of peak torque. The unit is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Jimny standard version is also being offered with a four-speed torque converter AT transmission. The SUV gets an AllGrip 4x4 system as standard.
In terms of features, the new Jimny Heritage Edition comes loaded with wireless Apple CarPlay, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, hill-descent control, LED headlights, auto climate control, hill-hold control, six airbags, and more. The Australia-spec Jimny XL features an ADAS suite with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) as standard to meet local safety regulations.
