Suzuki Motor Corporation has revealed two new models, the GSX-8R sport bike and the GSX-S1000GX sport-touring crossover, at the EICMA 2023 in Milan, Italy. The auto manufacturer will start selling the GSX-S1000GX model in December 2023 and the GSX-8R in January 2024. Suzuki will first sell these two models in North America and Europe. For now, the manufacturer has not revealed any details regarding the Indian launch of these new models.
The GSX-S1000GX is the first-ever Suzuki motorcycle to come equipped with Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES). The SAES electronically manages the suspension damping and preload as per the road conditions, speed of the vehicle, and posture changes due to road brakes. The GSX-S1000GX comes with the Suzuki Road Adaptive Stabilization (SRAS) program, which can identify uneven road surfaces. By including SAES with data from the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and other sources, the SRAS program automatically handles the suspension control amount. The GSX-S1000GX can give the riders a comfortable riding experience with subdued vibration on uneven roads, and on paved roads, it will give dynamic sport performance.

The GSX-S1000GX comes equipped with various electronic control functions, such as SAES damping settings, traction control levels, and the Motion Track Brake System that can switch on ABS. Regardless of the road conditions, the sport-touring crossover will give the riders a comfortable driving experience.
The GSX-S1000GX is powered by a 999-cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that can churn out 150 bhp of maximum power and 106 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Suzuki GSX-8S is a sport motorcycle based on the GSX-8S that allows riders to enjoy several types of riding. It comes with a new riding triangle, a complete fairing, and an innovative design. Fully flared motorcycles mostly use clip-on handlebars, but even though the new GSX-8S is a fully flared model, it still uses a tubular handlebar. The weight of the new GSX-8S has increased by 6 kg because of the inclusion of the fairing. The GSX-8S is suitable for daily usage, touring, and sport riding.
The GSX-8S sport model comes equipped with several innovative features, such as the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), Ride by Wire, Bi-Directional Quick Shift System, Easy Start System, and Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS). The GSX-8S is powered by the same 776-cc parallel 2-cylinder engine, also used in the GSX-8S and the V-Strom 800 lineup. The power and torque of the new model have not been disclosed by Suzuki.
