The Suzuki Swift Sport that debuted in 2017 has been spied in India for the first time at the Delhi International Airport. The white-colored car was being unloaded from the cargo flight. Maruti Suzuki is unlikely to launch the Swift Sport in India anytime soon. It is believed that the hatchback might either have been imported for Research and Development purposes or the it might have been brought in for an individual customer.

Swift Sport offers a high-performance engine, better suspension set-up, and many other improved mechanicals to handle the extra power. It is available in many international markets including Japan and European markets.
Mechanically, the Maruti Suzuki Swift Sport is powered by a K14B 1.4-litre BoosterJet turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 138 bhp power @ 5500 RPM and 230 Nm peak torque @ 2500-3500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The performance-centric hatch claims to have a top speed of 210 kmph. The Swift Sport gets 17-inch alloy wheels with 195/45 section ContiSportContact tyres.
