Tata Motors will launch the Harrier in early 2019 and now after the complete car, the company has teased the interiors of the Harrier. The booking of this SUV has already commenced and it is one of the most anticipated cars of recent times.
Tata Harrier is the most advanced SUV of the company. The projector headlights along with foglamps are housed within the front bumpers and the slim LED DRLs are positioned just above the bumper. The lower section of the car is surrounded by black cladding and skid plate on the front and rear bumper complete the look of the SUV. The floating roof along with upswept rear bumper with a massive departure angle gives the car a very appealing side silhouette.
The design of the car is very futuristic on both outside and inside. It gets a completely new dashboard layout. The infotainment screen is now floating and is sourced from Visteon. It will come with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink connectivity. The sound system of the car will be from Harman. There is wood treatment on the dashboard of the Harrier. The AC vents and steering wheel gets some silver accents.
The Harrier has been developed in close interaction with Jaguar Land-Rover. The monocoque chassis is made on the line which is based on Land Rover’s D8 platform. Powering the Harrier is a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine that produces 140 HP. The car will be available in both manual and automatic transmission.
