Tata Harrier OTR Price Hinted On Twitter

Tata Motors' Twitter account has hinted about the OTR price of the upcoming Harrier SUV.

Tata Motors had showcased the Harrier for the first time as a concept named H5X at the 2018 Auto Expo. Many automobile enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the launch of the Tata Harrier. Recently, Tata had confirmed the engine of the Harrier and also started to take the bookings for it and now the anticipation has increased further when the company hinted the Harrier’s OTR price on twitter.

The Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine that churns out 140 HP. Both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions will be offered in the Harrier. The SUV will be offered in an optional AWD drivetrain. The Harrier has been developed in close interaction with Tata’s subsidiary, Jaguar Land-Rover. The car is based on Land Rover’s D8 platform whereas the monocoque chassis is made on the OMEGARC architecture.

Tata will officially announce the price of Harrier in early 2019. The company has started the bookings for this SUV at a price of Rs. 30,000/-. The bookings can be done at any authorised Tata Motors dealership or online on the company’s official website www.tataharrier.com. The base variant Harrier will cost you around Rs. 16 lakhs while the top trim is expected to be priced at Rs. 21 lakhs (OTR prices). This SUV from Tata will take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta and Jeep Compass.
