India has been observing a nationwide lockdown since March 25 and it is not yet known whether it will be lifted on May 3, 2020 or not. The government is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that people stay indoors and all the essential commodities are supplied to them at their doorstep. On the similar lines, the carmakers are also facilitating people to buy their desired car or take a test drive from their homes. Recently, Tata Motors introduced the 'Click to Drive' platform for this very purpose and now we have learnt that Tata Harrier BS6 and Tata Tigor BS6 are being offered with discounts as well.
Tata Harrier BS6 was launched last month in the Indian market in a price range of Rs 13.69-20.25 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India). Now, it has been learnt that the company is offering benefits and discounts worth upto Rs 30,000 on the purchase of SUV through the 'Click to Drive' online platform. BS6 Tata Harrier is available with a 2.0L 4-cylinder Kyrotech diesel engine which generates top power of 170bhp while it is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. Recently, the company also introduced the Hyundai-sourced AISIN 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with the SUV. In fact, a couple of other changes were made as well with the Harrier line-up with the BS6 upgrade in form of a new ‘Calypso Red’ paint scheme and ESP being made as a standard safety feature.

Coming to the Tata Tigor BS6, it can be availed at discounts and benefits worth Rs 25,000 through the company's 'Click to Drive' digital sales platform. In addition, Tata Tiago BS6 is also offered with benefits and discounts worth upto Rs 20,000 on the price value. Tata Tiago petrol BS6 price starts at Rs 4.60 Lakhs and the price for the top-end variant goes as high as Rs 6.60 Lakhs while there is no word on the diesel variants. As for Tata Tigor BS6 price, the petrol variants comes in a range of Rs 5.75-7.49 Lakhs while identical to the Tiago, the diesel variants have not been launched yet. Tata Motors has become the first automaker in India to offer discounts on BS6 range of vehicles.
