Tata recently launched a teaser video of its premium hatchback named Tata Altroz.  The premium hatchback is slated for a launch in January 2020.

The homegrown carmaker has launched a teaser video of the hatchback to generate a buzz before its scheduled launch.

The Tata Altroz is built upon Tata’s all-new Agile Light Flexible Advanced (ALFA) modular architecture that is also used in Tata Harrier as part of company’s Impact Design 2.0 philosophy. The car is expected to be identical to the car model showcased at Geneva Auto Expo. The car will feature a few gold shades, glossy front grille with the company's signature humanity line. Also, the car has bunch of LED lightings like - LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs.

Tata Altorz will also have a set of twin-four-spoke alloy wheels and a blacked-out roof.

Although Tata has not revealed any technical specifications yet, the new Hatchback is expected to derive a BSVI compliant 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the Nexon. However the launch of the diesel variant of the hatchback is not confirmed.

While the interiors of the car will have a new steering wheel, floating display, and the central air-con vents positioned below.

The premium hatchback will use technologies like automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, semi-digital instrument cluster, to makes driving more fun.

Tata has given safety a top priority as the car has dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders, and high-speed alert as standard.

Upon launch the Tata Altroz will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and the Honda Jazz.
