Tata Motors to Deliver 3500 XPRES T EVs to BluSmart Mobility

BluSmart Mobility offers all-electric ride-hailing service across Delhi NCR

Tata Motors has signed an MOU with BluSmart Mobility for expanding their all-electric fleet multi-fold across Delhi NCR. Under the contract, it will deliver 3500 units of XPRES T EV which had its nation-wide launch in September 2021. BluSmart Mobility offers all-electric ride-hailing service across Delhi NCR and till now has completed more than 700,000 rides while covering over 22 million clean kilometres. Tata Motors has already sold 1000 units of XPRES T EV in the Indian market with a market share of over 70 percent.

The all-electric XPRES-T electric sedan is available with two battery packs - 16.5 kWh and 21.5 kWh. The former comes with a range of 165 kms while the latter runs 213 kms upon being fully charged. Both the aforementioned driving range figures are ARAI certified. There is no manual transmission on offer but a single speed automatic unit. As for safety features, it gets dual airbags and ABS with EBD as standard. The XPRES –T EV can be charged from 0-80 percent in 90 minutes and 110 minutes (for 16.5 kWh and 21.5 kWh respectively), using fast charging or can also be normally charged from any 15 A plug point. The cabin is finished in a black theme with electric blue accents. The fully electric sedan boasts of standard automatic climate control.
