5 units of the Nexon EV XZ+ Dark Edition were delivered to Aurangabad Smart City Development Corporation Limited (ASCDCL)

Tata Motors has delivered 5 units of the Nexon EV XZ+ Dark Edition to Aurangabad Smart City Development Corporation Limited (ASCDCL) in Aurangabad. This event took place in the presence of Mr. Aaditya Thackeray, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister for Tourism & Environment, Mr. Subhash Desai, Cabinet Minister for Industries & Mining,  Mr. Astik Kumar Pandey, CEO, ASCDCL, Mr. Arun Shinde, Additional CEO, ASCDCL, and several other dignitaries. Tata Nexon EV XZ+ Dark Edition was launched in July last year in two trims namely XZ+ and XZ+ LUX at a starting price of Rs 15.99 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi).


The Nexon EV XZ+ Dark Edition comes in a premium Midnight Black exterior colour with Satin Black humanity line and beltline, #Dark mascot and all-new 16-inch Charcoal Grey alloy wheels. The cabin is offered in premium dark themed leatherette upholstery with tri-arrow perforations and EV blue highlight stitches. The dashboard is finished in a dark themed glossy piano black color with tri-arrow design. Some of the other notable features in the all-electric SUV include Leatherette wrapped steering wheel, Rear seat central armrest with cup holders, 60:40 rear seat split, Powered sunroof with tilt function, Touchscreen infotainment by Harman with 35 connected car features, Adjustable rear seat headrest and Tyre pressure monitoring system. It also boasts of exclusive #Dark embroidery on front headrests.

An array of features have been carried from the standard SUV in the form of auto headlamps, auto rain sensing wipers, rear AC vents, fully automatic temperature control, 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster and a puncture kit. Mechanically, the Nexon EV XZ+ Dark Edition is powered by a 30.2 kWh Lithium-ion battery which is linked to an IP 67 rated permanent synchronous magnet induction motor. The maximum power output and peak torque performance stand at 127 bhp and 245 Nm. Tata Motors is providing a standard warranty of 8years/160 000 kms. Based on the Ziptron architecture, Tata Nexon EV is India's best-selling electric vehicle till date with a market share of 64 percent.
