Tata Motors is all set to launch the Punch in the Indian market on October 18 via a digital event. The official media invite has been shared across the mail. The homegrown automaker has already commenced the bookings for the vehicle at a token amount of Rs 21000.
Tata Punch: Design & Color Options
Cosmetically, the Punch micro-SUV features projector headlamps with LED DRLs, auto fold ORVMs, LED tail lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, faux roof rails and many more. Talking about the color options, Tata car is offered in Orcus White, Tornado Blue, Daytona Grey, Calypso Red, Atomic Orange, Tropical Mist, and Meteor Bronze.

The micro SUV is offered in a total of four variants namely Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative. Besides this, Tata is also offering the Punch with two customization packs - Rhythm, Dazzle, and Ira. Talking about the features, the SUV comes equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a 7.0-inch TFT instrument cluster, steering mounted controls, push button start, rear armrest, fully automatic temperature control, fast USB charger among many others. The safety kit of the all-new Punch comprises dual-front airbags, front fog lamps with cornering function, ABS with EBD, corner safety control, parametric alarm system, driver & co-driver seat belt reminder, reverse parking camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. The micro SUV debuts the first-in-segment Brake Sway control feature. However, it misses out on features like tyre pressure monitoring system and electronic stability control.
Tata Punch: Engine Specifications
Under the hood, the all-new Punch gets the new-gen 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine with Dynapro technology. The unit churns out a top power of 85 bhp and a peak torque of 113 Nm. The engine can further be availed with a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT gearbox.
