As we have already informed you, Indian maker Tata is gearing up to launch the facelift model of Tiago in the Indian market. While, earlier there were reports that claimed that the maker will launch the facelifted hatch in June itself, it did not materialise. The new leaked picture possibly shows the facelift model of Tata Tiago with an updated instrument cluster. The leaked photo shows that the instrument cluster in an all-digital unit on the facelift model. As of now, the Tiago comes with an analogue display on the instrument cluster. On the right side of the leaked photo of instrument cluster is the fuel indicator and on the left is the rev meter of the engine. In the middle rests the speedometer display with various car related information also being displayed around it. By the looks of it, the instrument cluster looks quite large and information rich and the company is surely bringing out this change with the youth audience of the car in mind. The company already targets the youth of the country with the Tiago hatchback and this new inclusion will sure win the hatchback a lot of fans in the market. The changes seen on Tiago hatch will likely make their way to Tigor as well, since the notchback is based on Tiago.

This will be the first major facelift for the Tiago ever since it was launched in the Indian market three years ago in 2016. It was only recently that the company made BNVSAP safety features standard on all variants of Tiago. Now the facelift will make sure that the car remains an attractive option at least for a couple of years in the future.

There are hopes that the maker will implement the latest IMPACT design philosophy of the brand with the facelift of the Tiago. The same design language is already seen on models from the company like the Harrier and the upcoming Altroz as well as Cassini. The upcoming facelift for Tiago and the crossover version are supposed to come with enough changes to keep them new but not major changes. One can hope that the models come with a few aesthetic tweaks as far as the exterior is concerned and the interiors may also see some feature additions and a minor overhaul of the cabin area. The performance version of the hatchback, known as the Tiago JTP will also receive the updates that the Tiago will get with the facelifted model.
