The second model from Volvo’s New electrified performance brand, Polestar, will be the Polestar 2. The car will be shown in the first time 2019 and will cover 563km on a full charge. The car’s electric motor will make 405hp and the company is looking to price the car between £30,000 and £50,000 (approximately Rs 27.23-45.40 lakh), according to the company’s chief operating officer, Jonathan Goodman.
Goodman said the 563-km range of the entry-level model will "represent the lower ‘bookend’ of our showroom range and, for now, it should give us as much access to the volume end of the EV market as we need."
The all-electric Polestar 2 sedan will be followed later by a larger, all-electric crossover SUV – the Polestar 3.
