A chap in Goa gets a customized Maruti Suzuki with a low rider stance for himself.
Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most successful models to emerge in recent years. The Swift was a segment leader for 14 years out of the 15 years since it was launched in May 2005. The company has sold over 22 lakh plus units of the hatchback till date and it has played a big role in the growth of the brand. It was launched with a petrol engine only before the company added a diesel motor in 2007. It’s not just the regular version of Maruti Swift that evokes interest as customized swifts are in huge demand too. The third-gen Swift, launched in 2018, was modified into a low rider hatchback.
The Modified Monsters did a stunning transformation of the Swift and by the looks of it, it is safe to assume that it would have been sweating hard work for the designers. If we talk about the external customisation, the front gets Demon projector-type headlamps with the integration of matrix styled turn indicators. The grille at the front also gets a chrome strip and a Mugen badging. The bumper remains untouched largely with just an addition of splitter at the lower end. Adding further appeal is the addition of a camp wrap on the right side.
The modified hatchback rides on wide 17-inch alloy wheels while one can also spot black coloured side skirt on the rear side with the blacked-out roof. The customized Swift has a lower ground clearance compared to the standard Swift due to the presence of Cobra lowered suspension and race dampers. Newly designed LED taillight and aftermarket spoiler are present at the rear end. The customized swift owner has done some modification to the interior as well as performance. The stock Swift is powered by a 1.2L petrol engine churning out 81.80 bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. Addition of other mechanical parts is Stage 1+ ECU remap from Wolf Moto Performance, iridium spark plugs, BMC air intake.
If we have a detailed look at the modifications, we can safely say the automotive designers have put in a lot of hard work, resulting in a hike in performance accompanied by the sporty look.
