The full-size adventure bike takes on the Ducati Multistrada Enduro and the BMW R1200 GSA.

The new Tiger Explorer costs ₹18.75 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and is only available in one Trim. The XCx is the off-road focussed version of the Tiger Explorer and it comes fitted with spoked wheels – a 19-incher at the front and a 17-incher at the back. The company may launch more versions in the coming months.

The bike, launched last year abroad, went through a comprehensive update and now runs an updated 1,215cc triple-cylinder engine that puts out a healthy 139hp and 123Nm of torque. This model now comes with semi-active suspension, available on the XRx, XRt, XCx, and the XCa models. Braking duties are handled by new, radially mounted Brembo monoblock calipers.

There’s also a new instrument cluster with a large analogue rev-counter sitting next to an LCD screen. The windscreen is electrically adjustable and thanks to ride-by-wire tech, there are multiple riding modes for you to choose from. The bike also features IMU-aided traction control as well as cornering ABS and multi-mode adjustability for the ABS. It even comes with cruise control, heated grips and self-cancelling indicators.

There’s a range of over 50 accessories to choose from, including multiple luggage options, crash protection and higher/lower seat visual upgrades.
