Today is the last day of 2020 and we are moving into a new year, which hopefully will be better for the automotive industry. Having said that, we cannot ignore the fact that 2020 was the worst year for the industry as a whole. The month of April marked a new low in the history of automobiles as not a single vehicle - either two wheeler or four wheeler - was sold in this month and zero sales was recorded. As 2020 is finally bidding adieu and 2021 is ushering in, we have created a second list of top 5 value for money cars launched in 2020 in the Indian market:
Kia Sonet:
Kia Motors India continued the onslaught with its third product Sonet in the country. Equipped with a myriad of never-seen-before features, Kia Sonet took the Indian market by storm as it registered over 25,000 bookings even prior to the official launch which took place on the 18th September 2020. Marking Kia's entry in the highly lucrative subcompact SUV segment, the Sonet was introduced in a price range of Rs 6.71 - Rs11.99 lakhs (ex- showroom), India.
