Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts Pvt Ltd (TKAP) today appointed K N Prasad as the Managing Director. Having said that, Mr. Prasad will be responsible for the strategic direction of TKAP’s operations in the country. Currently, he is serving as senior vice president in the company. He will be taking the charge from K G Mohan Kumar. He was elevated to the Managing Director’s position by the Board of Directors in the meeting held in January 2022.

Talking about K N Prasad, he comes with a rich experience in diverse areas covering engineering, production, and quality. He has in-depth sector knowledge and a deep understanding of the evolving industry scenario. Thus he will be contributing to the overall growth of the company at this critical juncture. Lastly, he comes with a total experience of 33 years and over 20 years of experience at TKAP.

K G Mohan Kumar, on the other hand, joined TKAP in 1998. He was responsible for localization of parts, equipment, and developing engineering talent for all product lines of the company. His key achievement has been to showcase Indian suppliers’ competitiveness and manufacturing capabilities thereby enhancing export opportunities.
