Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced on Friday that it has recorded a surge of 51 percent in the month of November by selling 17,818 units in the Indian market, while last year, it only sold 11,765 units in the same month. The two most famous models offered by Toyota in the country are the Innova Crysta and the Fortuner. While 894 units of the Cruiser were exported worldwide, the company sold 16,924 Urban Cruiser Hyryder units in the Indian market.
In the first 11 months of the calendar year 2022, Toyota sold 1.50 lakh units, while this year total sales for the manufacturer in India went up by 40 percent as it sold 2.10 lakh units. The company has completed 25 successful years in India, and its plan is to close in 2023 with a robust order book to fill.
