Toyota Kirloskar Motor to launch luxury MPV with revised interiors.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is all set to roll out the Vellfire luxury MPV in the first quarter of 2020. Competing against the likes of Mercedes Benz Marco Polo, the Toyota Vellfire will be brought to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) under the government’s new homologation rule. Toyota Vellfire is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 75 lakhs - Rs 80 lakhs(ex-showroom) India.


According to the leaked information from the Toyota Vellfire’s brochure that surfaced online, this high-end MPV comes in four body colours namely Black, Burning Black, White Pearl Crystal Shine, and Graphite ME. It will have a slightly revised interior while no changes will be carried out on its exterior design. Thus what you find on the outside are split all-LED headlights with DRLs, triangular housings for the fog lamps, a powered tailgate, sliding doors, and a redesigned front bumper & grille. 


The interiors of Vellfire come with a powered extendable Ottoman full recline seats. The rear seat is particular features a 10.2-inch entertainment screen along with 17 speaker JBL studio audio system. Other equipment list on-board this vehicle include a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a three-zone automatic climate control, two sunroofs, mood lighting, a 360-degree view camera, and individual tray tables.


Under the hood, this six-seater vehicle is powered by a BS 6 compliant 2.5-litre petrol engine with two electric motors placed at the rear. The hybrid powertrain delivers 197 bhp of max power. This new luxury MPV will feature an e-CVT automatic gearbox that will deliver power to all four wheels.
