Potential customers in the Indian market are expecting deliveries on bikes by February 2024. The brand has discontinued the older Rally Tiger 900 version in the Indian and global market.
The new Tiger 900 is powered by the same 888 cc, in-line 3 cylinder engine that churns out much more power than before. It churns out peak power of 106 bhp at 9,500 rpm and maximum torque output of 90 Nm at 6,850 rpm. If we talk about the upgrades, the seat has heightened up in both the variants of 2023 Triumph Tiger 900. The seat height of the 2023 Tiger 900 GT variant is between 820-840 mm whereas the seat height of the 2023 Tiger 900 Rally Pro variant lies between 860-880 mm. The motorbike now comes equipped with a brand-new 7-inch TFT instrument cluster that is copied from the older Tiger 1200 model. The instrument cluster now boasts Bluetooth connectivity as a standard feature whereas earlier it was given as an alternative option to the customers.
Both motorbikes employ up-side down forks from Marzocchi, they have a diameter of 45 mm with 180 mm of travel and can be easily manually adjusted for compression and rebound. At the rear, there is a monoshock which equips a manual preload and rebound adjustment. These motorbikes share a braking hardware system between them. These bikes have twin 320 mm discs in their front along with 255 mm discs at the rear.
And you can guess it easily from the bike name Tiger GT itself that it is developed for the purpose of touring on smooth highways due to which the company has given it alloy wheels. And the variant Tiger Rally Pro gets spoked rims which are highly durable and can take a beating while the bike-rider is off-roading.
