Triumph Trident 660 has already registered 125+ bookings in India

Triumph motorcycles India has finally launched the all-new Trident 660 at a starting price of Rs 6.95 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. Being the company's entry-level and most affordable offering till date, Triumph Trident 660 is placed in the premium middleweight roadster segment in India. Besides the Trident 660, the British brand already has three bikes in the roadster segment in the form of Street Triple RS, Street Triple R and Speed Triple 1200RS. It will rival the likes of Honda CB650R, Kawasaki Z650 and Ducati Scrambler in the Indian market.




Having had its world premiere in October 2020, Triumph Trident 660 has already registered 125+ bookings in India. It will be available in two dual-tone colour schemes namely Silver Ice & Diablo Red and Matt Jet Black & Matt Silver Ice. In addition, two single-tone color options are also on offer in the form of Crystal White and Black Sapphire. Underpinning an all-new chassis and weighing merely 189 kgs, Triumph Trident 660 comes loaded with several premium features like Road & Rain riding modes, Switchable traction control, Ride by Wire throttle, All-LED lighting, ABS, Switch cube GoPro control and TFT colored instrument cluster with Accessory fit “My Triumph” connectivity system, Bluetooth connectivity and Turn-by-turn navigation.




Mechanically, Triumph Trident 660 is powered by a 660cc liquid-cooled inline 3-cylinder petrol engine which delivers maximum power of 80bhp at 10250rpm and peak torque of 64Nm at 6250rpm. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres while Slip & Assist clutch also comes as a standard fitment. The bike is available with more than 45 dedicated accessories. It gets a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty and class-leading 16,000km service interval. The company has also introduced a special finance scheme of an EMI of Rs 9,999/- to make the ownership easier. Triumph Trident deliveries will commence from the last week of April across the country. With this launch, Triumph now offers 16 motorcycles across the entire range in India.
