The Indian two-wheeler maker falls short of achieving annual sales target of the TVS Apache RR 310

The Apache series is very popular in the Indian market as there are many fans of the bike. When the TVS Apache RR 310 was launched, it was the most exciting products for Apache fans thanks to the equipment offered in a TVS bike. However, the Indian bike maker couldn't achieve the sales target set for their flagship motorcycle.

TVS Motor Company had set a sales target of 10,000 units anually for the TVS Apache RR 310. In 2018 though, TVS managed to sell only 5297 units of the bike. The sales of the flagship TVS motorcycle has been dwindling, specially in the last two months of 2018. The manufacturer managed to sell 132 units and 185 units in November and December 2018 respectively.

Due to the increase in insurance price and rising competition in the two-wheeler market in India, the Apache RR 310 lost its limelight in recent times. However, the BMW G 310 R and G310 GS are in the top five selling BMW Motorrad bikes list of 2018. The German manufacturer sold 24,363 units of the G 310 R and G 310 GS globally.
