TVS recently launched the BS6 compliant Apache RR 310 in the Indian market. The President and CEO of the company, K.N. Radhakrishnan, has already confirmed that Apache will be launching the RTR 310 soon. TVS and BMW announced their partnership way back in 2013 and there are huge expectations from the dream collaboration. The bike could be a naked streetfighter version of Apache RR 310 and might be called the TVS Apache RTR 310. Currently, TVS RR 310 is powered by a BSVI-compliant 310cc single-cylinder motor that generates 33.5 bhp of maximum power and 27.3 Nm of peak torque.
TVS Apache RR 310 comes with a ride by wire function which enables rider modes and the riders can tweak the settings to suit their needs. TVS upcoming RTR 310 is believed to have the same underpinnings as the Apache RR310. On the design aspect, the RTR 310 will not have the bulky shroud, instead the headlight and front appearance will make the bike stand out. Changes are expected as far as the body panels are concerned but the fairing around the front is still expected to be there. The reason is plain and simple: The engine’s innovative heat management system is placed around the faring so that it can absorb it.
While the bike was confirmed this year by TVS but the launch is still far away. TVS Apache RTR 310 should be coming to the Indian shores by mid 2021. The official unveiling will give us a fair idea of how the bike would look and perform on the road. Pricing wouldn’t be more than the Apache RR 310 and it could cost around Rs 2 Lakhs. TVS Apache RTR 310 would be competing against KTM 390 Duke, Honda CBR 300 and Benelli TNT 300.
