Auto Expo 2020 is all set to welcome automotive firms from around the world with a lot of eye-catching arrivals ranging from BS6 compliant vehicles to electric based automobiles. Indian consumers love budget cars which are affordably priced but are feature-rich too has been a driving force in the growth of the Automobile Industry. We are going to see the unveiling of budget-friendly cars by leading automobile brands at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo in Greater Noida. 


Skoda Vision IN 

Skoda Vision IN is having a world premiere at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020. Vision IN is different from what we have seen from Skoda in the past with its grille featuring illuminated crystalline twin ribs and logo on the outside. The Interior looks classy with seat covers having decorative seams and the leather steering wheel with knurl wheels. Illuminated ŠKODA lettering is visible and positioned in the center of the rear profile of the concept giving an elegant and classy look to the Skoda Vision IN.


Renault HBC

Delhi Auto Expo will see the unveiling of Renault HBC - a compact SUV in the sub-4 meter SUV category. HBC is reportedly coming with the HR10 turbocharged 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. Renault HBC will have a familiar grille, split headlamps, and fog lamp assembly like we in Renault's other offering the Triber. The SUV will have prominent wheel arches, bold creases, and roof rails. 


Kia QYi (Sonet)

We will be seeing the unveiling of Kia QYi in the sub-4 meter SUV category. The highlight of the side profile of this SUV will be its flush type door handles. As per the various media reports streaming in, there will be a host of distinctive features like sleek LED headlamps, Tiger Nose grille, aggressive bumper, large wheels, and gold body paint. Kia has tried to give a stylish outlook to the SUV by giving red highlights in the lower portion of doors as well as wheels. Kia QYi (Sonet) will have LED tail lamps covering the vehicle’s entire width with thick chromed window line, plus wing mirrors. It’s widely expected that 1.0-litre turbo petrol, 1.2-liter petrol, and 1.4-liter diesel engines would be adopted by Kia QYi. 


Maruti Suzuki XL5

Maruti Suzuki is unveiling XL5 at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020. Just like we saw in the case of XL6 which was a more beefed-up version of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the XL5 is basically a premium version of WagonR. It will sport a split headlamp set-up with a slim grille, and LED lights at the rear for a stylish look. K12B 1.2-litre engine will power the XL5 delivering 81 bhp of maximum power and 113 Nm of peak torque. XL5 will also have 15-inch alloy wheels and Suzuki’s Smart Play audio system.


Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift

Maruti Suzuki will be showcasing the Vitara Brezza facelift at Auto Expo 2020. There are some stylish changes in the exterior with the small SUV also now boasting a BS6 compliant 1.5 litre petrol engine. The revamped Brezza will have a five-speed manual and four-speed torque converter transmission options. A new fog-lamp along with a redesigned grille, new alloy wheel design and other features like sunroof, smart play infotainment system makes the Vitara Breeza facelift unveiling a must-attend event. Maruti has worked on the exterior as well as interior plus adding new features like cruise control, more airbags will keep the viewers interested.

Maruti Ignis Facelift

Launch of Maruti Ignis is expected on 7th of February at the Auto Expo 2020. There are expected design and feature updates while Ignis will boast a BS6 compliant petrol engine. Four variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha are expected to be offered. The 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine can produce a maximum power output of 82bhp at 6,000rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 4,200rpm. There will be refreshed front grille and silver-colored roof rails while featuring revamped LED taillamps and a skid plate. The interior is revamped with new seat upholstery, fresh cabin theme, SmartPlay Studio infotainment system giving a new vibrant look. 


Mahindra eKUV100

One of the most eagerly awaited unveilings is Mahindra eKUV 100 at the Delhi Auto Expo. eKUV 100 looks similar to the KUV100 petrol version and will have minimal changes like revised grille with some modifications in the headlamps and taillights. eKUV 100 is powered by 40 KW electric motor with a maximum power of 53 bhp and 120 Nm of peak torque. The battery is 15.9 kWh lithium-ion unit and the SUV can run 120 kms on a single charge.
