TVS Jupiter is the first 110cc scooter in India to boast of this intelligent Stop & Go technology

TVS Motor Company has introduced the new 'intelliGO' technology platform with the Jupiter scooter in the Indian market. Being the first 110cc scooter in the country to boast of this intelligent Stop & Go technology, it will be available in two colors namely Starlight Blue and Royal Wine. TVS Jupiter ZX Disc intelliGO is priced at Rs 72,347 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter doesn't get any cosmetic and mechanical updates besides the addition of TVS intelliGO. It takes on the likes of Honda Activa and Hero Maestro in India.

Speaking of TVS intelliGO, it automatically switches off the engine during long idling like traffic signals and other transient stops which subsequently results in greater mileage and lower emission levels. A lot of fuel is saved as the engine is not functional during these stops. The engine can be started again by a simple throttle rev. Some of the features of TVS Jupiter include LED headlamp, 2-litre glove box, mobile charger and 21-litre storage. It gets adjustable shock absorbers at both front and rear. Being powered by a 110cc engine with Ecothrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology, it has a power output of 7.4bhp at 7000rpm and peak torque of 8.4Nm at 5500rpm. Due to the ET-Fi technology, the mileage of the scooter has gone upto by 15 percent.

Mr. Aniruddha Haldar, Vice President (Marketing) – Commuter Motorcycles, Scooters & Corporate Brand, TVS Motor Company said, “TVS Motor Company has been at the forefront of introducing technological advancements backed by customer insight. TVS intelliGO is a testimony to our philosophy of listening to our customers, understanding their needs, and innovating our products to provide an unmatched product experience.  This intelligent Stop & Go technology is significant for our consumers through its dual impact of reducing fuel costs and emissions. The technology facilitates a comfortable riding experience for our customers, along with reducing emissions. TVS intelliGO will debut on our flagship scooter brand – TVS Jupiter. We are confident that the discerning TVS Jupiter customers will find immense value in this innovation.”
