The scooter comes equipped with first-of-its-kind Voice Assist feature

TVS Motor Company has launched the Ntorq 125 Race XP Edition at a sticker price of Rs 83,275 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) in the country. The scooter comes equipped with first-of-its-kind Voice Assist feature as standard. It is also the only scooter in the entire 125cc segment to have power output over 10 PS. In addition, TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP Edition becomes the only scooter with IC engine to get dual ride modes. TVS Ntorq 125 competes against the likes of Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125 and Yamaha Ray ZR 125 in the Indian market.

Flaunting a tri-tone colour scheme, TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP boasts of the signature headlamp and LED tail lamps. It also gets Race-inspired colour theme and graphics while riding on sporty red painted wheels. The TVS SMARTXONNECTTM connectivity platform is now offered with Voice Assist feature which covers 15 connectivity functions through voice commands including mode change, navigation, console brightness adjustment and DnD. For those asking, TVS SMARTXONNECTTM is a Bluetooth-enabled technology paired with an exclusive TVS Connect mobile App which is available on Android and iOS platforms. The company has also introduced a new refreshed UI/UX for the TVS Connect App while boasting of a ride mode-based live dashboard that complements the consumer's riding style.


The navigation function now comes with the much needed Save address function, making it easy to navigate to regular routes. The scooter also comes with new toggle ride modes which allow the rider to access additional delivery from the vehicle on demand. Furthermore, the scooter is lighter in weight due to the use of advanced engineering polymers, high strength steel and alloy steel. Mechanically, TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP is powered by the same engine as the regular variants with the inclusion of Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi) technology. The power output is rated at 10 bhp at 7000 rpm while torque delivery stands at 10.8 Nm at 5500 rpm. Customers also have an option of choosing between two Riding modes, Race mode and Street mode, with a flick of a switch. The top speed of the scooter is 98kmph.
