The images show design cues shared with its larger sibling, the Apache RTR 200 4V

The New TVS Apache RTR 160 could possibly feature styling more in line with the Apache RTR 200 4V. The images show that the dual-shock rear suspension is now a new mono-shock at the back, which should improve this bike’s handling. The outgoing bike makes 15.4hp and 13.1Nm, and you can expect a slight bump up in these figures, although no specs have been revealed so far. The new motor will be compliant with BS-IV norms.

The bike could come fitted with an LED tail light and an all-digital instrument cluster. The prominent centre panel, now finished in silver, is a lot more prominent on this bike, going by the spy images. The fuel tank looks borrowed from the RTR 200, while the new design of the tail section is a lot plainer.

The bike was spotted testing near TVS’s Hosur facility. The bike could also feature a single-seat layout when launched. Pricing for the outgoing model stand currently at ₹76,575 and ₹78,904 for the rear drum and rear disc versions, respectively. The new bike could be priced around the same region.
