TVS Wego, Jupiter get Sync Brake System

The Sync Brake System improves effectiveness and distribution of brake force.

TVS’s new combined braking system, called Sync Brake System (SBS), is available as standard fitment across all variants of the Wego and Jupiter. The system uses a reactive relay that applies both brakes in quick succession, helping make the brakes more effective.

The SBS automatically engages the front brake when you press the rear brake. Brake force distribution is front-biased, so the system helps stop the bike effectively. Both brakes are utilised at the same time even if the rider presses only one lever. The company also claims that using the SBS helps increases the life of brake liners and tyres.

TVS is now the third company (after Honda and Hero MotoCorp) to introduce a combined braking system.
