Maruti Suzuki has increased the production of the Vitara Brezza to reduce the waiting period.

Maruti launched the Vitara Brezza in March 2016 and the compact SUV was an instant success. The Vitara Brezza crossed the 3-lakh sales mark in just 28 months and since the launch the company has managed to sell around 3.57 lakh units of the vehicle.

The high demand for the Vitara Brezza has resulted in a very long waiting period, hence the manufacturer has increased the production of the vehicle to reduce the waiting period. The company’s Gujarat plant is in its full capacity and is producing 2.5 lakh units of vehicles annually.

The Vitara Brezza is loaded with features and has received a 4-star rating in the crash assessment programmes. The SUV comes with a 1248cc diesel engine which produces 89 BHP of power and 200 Nm of torque. However, there is an option for manual or automatic transmission.
