Volkswagen launches Sport editions of Polo, Ameo, Vento Sport

The Polo Sport and Ameo Sport priced at Rs 6.93 lakh and Rs 8.30 lakh. The Vento gets a price drop.

The company has introduced new Sport editions of its Polo and Ameo, which are priced at Rs 6.93 lakh and Rs 8.30 lakh respectively. The Vento Sport gets a price revision and now costs Rs 10.70 lakh (prices ex-showroom, India).

The Sport editions are based on the respective car’s top-spec variant – they come with all the same features and equipment but to tell them apart, they come with a blacked-out roof, black rear spoiler, faux carbon-fibre finish on the outside mirrors, and 'Sport' decals on the doors.

The cars come mechanically unchanged and can be had with petrol and diesel engines but for the Vento Sport, the diesel engine is only available on the automatic trim.
