Volkswagen’s Ameo Special Edition was spotted testing near Pune. Going by the spy pictures, styling could be similar to the Polo GT Sport that had launched in April this year. There are decals on the bottom of the doors, a black boot-lip spoiler, black touches on the boot and a blacked-out roof. There are new alloy wheels with a black finish, while the cabin is expected to sport black leather seats as well.
The car in the spy pictures is powered by a 75hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 110Nm and is fitted with a five-speed manual transmission.
The 110hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 250Nm and comes mated to either a five-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic will also be on offer with this variant.
