Volvo prices hiked by up to 2.5 percent

Indian buyers looking to invest in a Volvo anytime soon will be greeted with the new 2.5 percent price hike that the company has already issued at most of its local dealerships. The revised pricing has affected models such as the V40 siblings, whose price has been increased to ₹56,900 and the S60 R-Design, which is now priced at ₹39,25,000. For higher priced models such as the XC90 Momentum, the price difference is almost as much as ₹1,00,300 as it now costs ₹71,97,000.

Interestingly, as per the price list provided, Volvo has de-listed the S60 T6, with the petrol sedan expected to be replaced by the new high-performance S60 Polestar due for launch on April 14.
