We are back with our weekly dose of 'Auto Shots' for you! This week, we had quite a few launches. Right from Maruti Swift Limited edition, Hero Splendor Plus Black and Accent Edition, Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat Drum Brake variant to TVS Ntorq Super Squad Edition and Hero City Speed NYX HX Electric scooter. Nissan Magnite made its world premiere while Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is about to launch soon. Also, Honda motorcycles are available at massive discounts this festive season.
Maruti Swift Limited Edition launched
Maruti Suzuki launched the Swift limited edition in the country. The limited edition of the hatchback is Rs 24,990 pricier than the regular variants. Furthermore, the limited edition gets special styling cues on the outside along with subtle cosmetic editions inside the cabin. Under the bonnet, this limited edition will be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that also powers the regular model. The engine generates 83 bhp power and 113 Nm torque while being mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox along with a 5-speed AMT gearbox as an option. Read More
Hero Splendor Plus Black and Accent Edition launched at Rs 64,470
Hero Motocorp launched the Splendor Plus Black and Accent Edition this week at a starting price of Rs 64,470 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. The homegrown manufacturer is offering potential buyers the option of customizing their Splendor Plus Black Edition with their choice of graphics. Furthermore, the new Edition comes in ‘All-Black’ theme with tyres, engine, and chain cover all in black finish. Read More
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat Drum Brake variant launched
Bajaj Auto launched the Pulsar 125 Split Seat Drum Brake variant at a price of Rs 73,274 (ex-showroom) in India. The major change is the drum brake replacing the front disc on the bike. Mechanically, it is powered by a 4-Stroke, 2-Valve, Twin Spark BS6 compliant DTS-i engine. The engine generates 11.63 bhp of maximum power output and 11 Nm of peak torque. The engine is further mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Read More
TVS Ntorq Super Squad Edition launched at Rs 77,865
TVS Motor Company launched the Ntorq 125 Super Squad Edition at Rs 77,865 (ex-showroom). The Ntorq 125 Super Squad Edition is India’s first Bluetooth connected scooter with RT-Fi technology. It is offered in three new paint schemes namely Combat Blue, Invincible Red, and Stealth Black. All three colours have been inspired by Marvel superhero characters - Captain America, Iron Man, and Black Panther. Hero City Speed NYX HX Electric scooter launched at Rs 64,640
Hero Electric launched City Speed NYX-HX at Rs 64,640 (ex-showroom, India) in the Indian market. The NYX-HX series is equipped with a high-torque and efficient powertrain. It is designed to deliver a maximum power output and smooth rides under heavy loads. Furthermore, the manufacturer claims a driving range of 82 kms per charge which can go up to 210 kms per charge depending upon the battery size. Read More
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 launching on November 6
Royal Enfield Motorcycles is all set to launch the Meteor 350 on November 6, 2020. The upcoming bike will be replacing the now discontinued BS4 compliant Thunderbird 350 siblings. The New Meteor 350 will be based on the new J1D platform that will also underpin future Royal Enfield bikes. It will be offered in a total of three variants namely Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. Nissan Magnite makes world premiere in India
Nissan India finally unveiled the Magnite SUV globally. The India launch is likely to take place in early 2021. The SUV will fall in the price bracket of Rs 5.30 lakhs - Rs 7.50 lakhs (ex-showroom). Under the hood, it will draw power from a BS6 compliant 1.0L HRA0 turbocharged petrol engine with mirror bore cylinder coating from the Nissan GT-R. Read More
