Ola Electric is getting ready to launch its new event tomorrow. Ola S1 air launch in India. The much-anticipated $1 Air electric scooter will go on sale tomorrow, according to the brand. Aside from that, it is possible that more announcements will be made. The $1 Air was first revealed in October of last year. The majority of the details concerning the $1 Air have already been revealed by Ola Electric. Here's all we know so far about the Ola $1 Air.
Battery pack and range of the Ola S1 Air
The $1 Air will be equipped with a 3 kWh battery pack, with Ola Electric boasting a range of 125 kilometers on a single charge. The charging durations have not yet been announced by the manufacturer, and it is unknown whether the $1 Air will be compatible with Ola's Hypercharger network.
Ola S1 Air is powered by an electric motor
The $1 Air was originally unveiled with a 2.7 kW motor, but Ola improved it to a 4.5 kW unit. Instead of the belt drive used on the $1 and $1 Pro, it gets a hub motor. This was done to reduce the cost. Because of the hub motor, it would be more difficult to repair and replace tyres.
Ola S1 Air Price and availability
The $1 Air has a starting price of 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom). After the initial price expires, the electric scooter will cost Rs. 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The delivery of the Ola $1 Air will begin in early August, according to Ola Electric.
Hardware for the Ola S1 Air
Ola Electric has taken a number of steps to minimize the cost of the scooter. It has telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. In comparison, both the S1 and the $1 Pro have monoshocks in the front and rear. Steel wheels are used on the $1 Air as opposed to alloy wheels on the $1 and S1 Pro. Finally, the brakes on the $1 Air will be drum brakes rather of disc brakes used on higher-end scooters.
Ola S1 Air Competitors
The TVS iQube and the incoming Ather 450 are the Ola $1 Air rivals.
