Shaman Wheels and Mercedes India will participate with the group to promote awareness about classics every month.

The enthusiast community, called Youngtimers gained traction amongst enthusiasts, with Shaman Wheels Mumbai and Mercedes-Benz India coming on board to participate in an awareness programme as well as an educational forum every month on a Sunday. The forum will work to promote preserving, maintaining and encouraging investing and collecting classics and youngtimers.

Shaman Youngtimers as a brand is largely Mercedes-Benz-focussed, however, but a large audience of enthusiasts who participate in this meet possess cars from across brands from the 80s and 90s.

Amar Sheth, managing director of Group Shaman, says, "There is an incredible amount of passion that owners of these 'youngtimer' cars have, and we at Shaman Mercedes are happy to support them in getting to know these cars better and help with keeping them going for many years to come."

The group meets usually on the second Sunday of the month and discuss various topics, from routine maintenance tips and monsoon readiness. There are comprehensive workshops on coachwork and paint, with talks from industry experts like Nilesh Atale from Mercedes-Benz India. The next youngtimers' meet is scheduled for July.
