Zoeb Karampurwala Joins Mahindra Electric Mobility

Zoeb Karampurwala was working as the Director -Chief Engineer at Ola Electric

A senior-level executive at Ola Electric - Zoeb Karampurwala has joined Mahindra Electric Mobility recently. Zoeb has been associated with Ola Electric since November 2018. Before exiting the company, he was serving there as the Director-Chief Engineer, Electric Vehicles & Charger Systems. 

At present, Zoeb is serving the notice period at Ola Electric where he had designed and developed an EV in a span of 4 months ready for production. Besides that, he drove the swappable battery charger and scooter project. 

Prior to Ola, Karampurwala was with Tata Motors for almost 19 years. He started the journey with the auto major in January 1999. He was the Senior Manager-Product Development- Engineering Research Center(ERC). There he was responsible for vehicle integration of defense and commercial vehicles for the company. Following this, he became the Head-New Product Development at Tata Hispano, Spain in September 2010. He worked there till December 2014. Moving on, in January 2015, Karampurwala joined Tata Motors in Pune as General Manager (Platform Chief) - Hybrids & Electric Vehicles.
