TVS Motor Company has rolled out the 1 Lakhth unit of BMW 310 Series motorcycle from its production facility in Hosur, Karnataka. The landmark 1 Lakhth unit was wheeled out by KN Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company and Rainer Baumel, Head of Products, 1-, 2-Cylinder and Urban Mobility, BMW Motorrad. For those asking, TVS & BMW had signed a cooperation agreement to develop and produce sub-500cc motorcycles for the global market. As part of this collaboration, three products on the 310cc platform were introduced namely BMW G 310 R, BMW 310 GS and TVS Apache RR 310.
Commenting on this milestone, KN Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company, said, “We are delighted to achieve a historic milestone in our journey with BMW Motorrad today. We are proud to be a part of this journey and look forward to continuing the partnership with BMW Motorrad.” The exports of BMW G 310 R and BMW 310 GS motorcycle commenced in December 2016 from TVS Hosur facility and it has taken less than five years to achieve this milestone.

The BMW G 310 R and BMW 310 GS are now available in 120 countries.
