Maruti Suzuki has given the Baleno RS a facelift after introducing the regular Baleno facelift. The new Baleno RS is priced at Rs. 8.76 lakhs (ex-showroom). Similar to the standard variant, the Baleno RS also gets cosmetic changes on the exterior as well as interior with new features on offer. There are no mechanical changes to the new Maruti Baleno RS.
There are significant changes on the front profile of the Baleno RS thanks to the revised bumper that now looks much more sporty with huge airdams. The grille has also been tweaked that makes it look fresh. The side profile of the Baleno RS will get new alloy wheel design while the rear profile of the car remains more or less the same without any changes.
The interior gets updated upholstery and the new Smartplay Studio infotainment system that offers better connectivity and more features along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Powering the Baleno RS is the same 1.0-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol BoosterJet engine that produces 100 BHP of power with 150 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
You can get the Cooper in three-door, five-door and convertible body styles. The three-door model comes with petrol and diesel engine options, while the five-door gets just the diesel, and the convertible is only available with a petrol motor.
