Tata has also offered a new Calypso Red exterior color with the updated BS6 Harrier. The already available Calisto Copper, Thermisto Gold, Ariel Silver, Telesto Grey and Orcus White single tone colors have been retained from the BS4 model. In fact, the couple of dual-tone paint schemes, which are Calisto Copper with black roof and Orcus White with black roof, have also been continued. The company has also presented a new XZ+ grade with new features such as panoramic sunroof, 6-way powered driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support, auto-dimming rearview mirrors and dual-tone Diamond-Cut 17-inch alloy wheels.

The ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) has been made a standard safety feature across all the variants of Harrier. Under the hood, it has the BS6 2.0 litre 4-cylinder Kyrotech diesel engine which is more powerful than before. It now develops top power of 170bhp and peak torque of 350Nm while mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission as an option. For those asking, Tata Harrier has received a power bump of 30bhp as the BS4 engine used to deliver maximum power output of 140bhp.
